Well I go to the rich kid school in my school district and a lot of the kids are real preppy and stuff like that. Bit we have this program there called aerospace and engineering which I am apart of and I'm on this team where we design and build a one seated electric car that we have to run for an hour on just two batteries at top speed (which is around 30mph) with hairpin turns and stuff like that on a quarter mile track. Well when we got to the race I was pretty much the crew chief that did all the work because I was wearing a camo hat. (I was a sophomore when all this happened and the rest were seniors). But since I was the one in the camo hat I was designated the redneck which I am kinda and I did all those repairs and such. And now I am the only one except for a couple others that are building a vehicle. And I am the only one building a lifted jeep which makes me one of the rednecks at school.
Sounds like me at work. They make fun of me for being a Redneck (good natured). But when there's a problem, and they need somebody to build a tool, to build a tool, to fix something with nothing in a hurry, they always come to the Redneck.

When Plinko gives you nightmares about small delicate metal parts falling into your motor. You don't win in this plinko, but if it hits the oil pan, you got the highest score.

I'm looking for a Scout II Dana 300. Drop me a line if you have any leads. Thanks

You know you drive a CJ when your Jeep was originally built in Toledo, Ohio with American parts, but now is built in your garage with parts from America, China, Mexico, India, and South Korea.

Yeah but if you're like me, when you get your bits from Morris or wherever and realise they're from China and you put em on and just go "nup, that is s**t!!!" and clean up the original parts, paint or p'coat, put em back on and go "yep, that is THE s**t!!" In the CJ world 3 letters make all the difference.

If the Chinese stuff is so cheap then why can't they make stuff with the same thickness as the Toledo version so we aren't all pi**ed off and bag the hell out of it. It's all just so half-arsed. Rant off.

When you get asked "are you mechanically inclined?" and you respond "I drive a CJ5" and the guy says "Oh, you'll have no problem with this".

True story while picking up parts to repair a water backup pump. I meant it as a joke. Turns out the guy at the counter was a Jeep guy too.
