...You send your wife a link to a forum thread on "You know you drive a CJ when..." thinking it will amuse her, make sense and explain why you find it perfectly reasonable to buy a Jeep on Ebay and spend the next 5 years replacing every part with parts from other types of vehicles just to get it to the "way you want"
I'm glad I'm not the only one that sent my wife the link and then had to explain why all of them are so true.

Here's one

....you tow it 4 hrs to the deer lease while it barely runs and your buddies don't understand why you take it out on the ranch everyday even though you know it is going to break down and someone is going to need to tow you in. Then you spend the next few hours making it run again....repeat.

...when you look at fellow CJ owners and ask why theirs are so damn unreliable, when
yours can make 200 mile journeys without a second thought

you can't throw away scrap metal because you know it has potential to be part of the next body repair, motor mount or some soon to be needed part of your CJ.......

you opt for the 10# spool of MIG wire knowing 1# won't last long enough and you can't buy more at 1:00 in the morning when you will most need it......

your wife shops for a special "Jeep hat" to keep wind blown hair out of her face........

You know you drive a cj when you update your English teacher, whose husband is an enngineer for AEV, on the progress from the previos nights work. And then trying to explain why you didn't do your homework. (I'm a High Schooler)
OR
When your gf of three days comes over to help you prep the body for bedliner and then tells you that she thinks the Jeep is awesome.
OR
When your frinend that drives a tj, that is lifted 2 inches, parks next to you and your jeep is still taller at the stock ride height

When you're in the Army and you call in to tell them you'll be running late because your CJ wouldn't crank, and the Battalion leadership simply say "Oh, Ok." then once you do get in to work, it dies about 2 miles down the road and have to walk the rest of the way to tell them it died and that you need a tow up to the office so you can work on it in the parking lot.

...you are driving down the road and the doors 'pop' open for no real reason

...you go over any small bump and the spare tire rattle makes you want to run into in wall

I have a 35 mph speed limit sign for floor boards on driver and passenger sides.

You know you drive a CJ when you cant even see whats behind you, because the engine shakes your mirrors so violently.

And that over sized tire blocks the rear view mirror
