YJ half top on CJ7

I'm sure it has been asked but I can't find it. Can a yj halftop work on a CJ7? If so what will have to be done?

Basicly a half cab enclosure. I have a windjammer on now but if I take my hard top off there is a gap between the door and the rollbar. The CJ is my only mode of transportation and I need to be able to drive it in the rain and not get wet all the time.

It will rely on the windshield extension bars found on the YJ. Without them or an equal substitute it would not.

I was under the impression that the YJ cab cover was no longer available. If it is I would appreciate a link to it.

Thanks

I had seen some on ebay. I would like to have a half top or fastback top but I don't have the coin to spend on one for a CJ right now.

GR8TOPS Half Hardtops for Jeeps

I wonder why these guys don't make one for the 76 jeep? It would be cool to have one.

IIRC the ones that Bestop offers are for the TJ style family bar. If you can locate a '96 TJ, that bar will fit the CJ.

Here is a link to some good looking but rather pricey tops including a fastback and the 1/2 top for the '79 and up CJ and the YJ.
