YJ Brake Booster fit a CJ with OE PB?

Does anyone know if a YJ brake booster will fit in to replace an 85 CJ brake booster? I'm not changing the MC, just the booster.

Thanks.

Joey

From the research I've done, it will work if you do two things, Oval out the CJ master mounting holes slightly outward to fit the YJ booster and shorten the YJ booster to master pushrod to fit the CJ master (as its shorter) it must be exact.
I went with the YJ booster/master/ and pedals, but have to bend/make new lines from the master to the Porp valve.

Thanks, I was hoping it was a straight bolt on job. I did a search before posting and found you had to shorten the pushrod for a manual to PB conversion but wasn't sure about a PB to PB one. Thanks again.

I found that out awhile back so I'm just going with the yj mc and booster. I think there is too much to chance messing with the rod coming out of the booster.

Before you go to the YJ mc, do you have a 258? I did the swap and I have a minor clearance problem. The air filter housing is a hair too big so I took a mallet and banged on it a little. Now it barely fits, and the cover barely closes on it. In fact, the cover dosent close on it at all.

Take this in consideration. Let me know if you have any problems or need any advice
