XJ springs on a CJ8?

Thought about doing a XJ spring swap all around in my future Scrambler build. I'm going with full width axles and most likely a shackle reversal - the stock, long, light spring rate XJ springs have the potential to give a nice ride and better articulation than CJ, or even YJ, spring sets. Had thought about/considered other full size truck (ie long) spring sets but came back to the rear XJ springs - the front half of the spring pack is approximately the same length as a CJ/XJ front spring with about 6" longer in the back half of the spring pack similar to the old Jeep Commando rear springs.

Disregarding the overall length difference between CJ and XJ springs and the fab to relocate the front shackle mounts, any experience or thoughts on the use of XJ springs on a CJ8?

Not new to Jeeps, drivetrains, suspension mods, or frame/fab work so don't be concerned about my mechanical abilities - have been doing it all in my garage for over 30 years.

Appreciate hearing your experiences,
Ty
