Which is which, DOT approved? How much?

I'd rather be lost on the trails than found at home!

Xenon is on the left. It is dot approved. Got them for $10 ea on rockauto.com. The standard halogen headlamps were $3-5 ea.

I've had the upgraded wiring and circuit breakers mod done for years and that was an instantly noticeable upgrade in light output. Together with these new lamps, I've more than doubled the factory output. I'm very happy with the outcome.

As an FYI, the upgrade order in technology goes as such; halogen, xenon, HID, LED.
The more you step up of course, the price goes up. For my 50/50 on road/off road rig, this was a perfect step up. Any other light sources will be off road lights and in the near future will be LED's as price is dropping drastically as time goes on.
