Wiper Linkage

MY WIPER LINKAGE IS BROKEN. TRIED TO GET TO IT TODAY AND COULDN'T! '71 CJ5, LOWERED THE WINDSHIELD, TOOK THE RUBBER SEAL OFF AND COULDN'T GET TO IT. ANY HELP?

Do you have the 1.5" round plugs on the inside of the windshield frame? If so, you should be able to snake the linkage out of the far left (driver's side) hole.
