Will This Slave Cylinder Work???

I ordered a slave cylinder from Advance Auto and when I got it home and finally got my old one off it looks different. The one I got does not have the rubber boot on it like the one Quadratec sells. Mine only has the boot around the cylinder. Is this ok? I don't see why it wouldn't be as it's all internal anyhow.

Mine just has a short boot, as long as it keeps the dust away from piston and seals>
