Will a Center Console for CJ 75+ fit in a 74 CJ5?
I have a feeling it won't fit because my 74 tub has the storage area on the passenger side.
It's just that most consoles I find are for 76+ models... Or if not fitting, is there a way to "make" it fit? I.e. cutting it? Thanks for your help!

Without knowing what console you're referring to it's hard to tell if you can make it fit without issues.
I have a Tuffy 10" center console that I pulled out of a '79 CJ in my '75, which has the same floor as your '74. It took some bracket making to install, but nothing too difficult. |

By the way, a 75 tub is the same as a 74. 75 was a mixed year... My 75 was manufactured in June and has the old style tub. If you have the toolbox under the passenger seat its the old style tub.
