That color looks a lot like a friend of mine has on his CJ. It's sour apple green I believe. Here's a picture of his CJ to see if the color is close to what you're looking for...

Not spot on... When we mixed at the body shop it was really dark and no metallic in it. Back to the drawing board. Sigh.... I hope they don't lose their patience with me. It has to be right! I wish we could just find this guy and be like dude, what color is this??? I was looking last night at Hyundai's new Accent and that green is close - but I am having a really hard time putting an Un-American color on my piece of Americana. Hmmmmmm.... Love you guys for helping me.

That's odd.....my Fairway Green '73 CJ-5 had plenty of metallic in it. Could be a variation during production?!?

Did you check out the thread "The Green Machine Lives"? The close up of the paint looks similar. Hard to compare flipping back and forth on the iPad. He lists it as "Forrest Moss Green Metallic". The overall pictures don't really look like close up.

You're talking about my Jeep, which is indeed Kirker's Forest Moss Green Metallic. Mine was originally Fairway Green Poly and the new color is a close approximation of that with a lot more metallic.

My Jeep is NOT the same color as the Jeep shown on page 1 of this thread.

Color might be in the spec sheet.

I've also learned that sometimes... when people don't agree with you .... its best to hold them down and kidney punch them till they agree with you

Has it ever been suggested to have type paint or paint code added to our public profile or "My Specs" ?

Just wondering...

Sounds like a conspiracy theorist

Good thing for me, I'm a rebel, and never feel forced to watch anything that I don't want to...
