Where to get an 83' cj7 factory service manual

Yes, I have searched the forum and Google but can't find a link to purcharse an actual FSM. Anyone have a good link?

You would need the 82 FSM & 83 Supplement (maybe)

The FSM is for all Jeep models for that year. I do not if the CJ's had any changes from 82 to 83 other than trim packages

DT, did you gat a service manual from them, all I see on their site is the parts manual?

yup, what he said. here's the direct link. i think it's missin a few things here and there but it's close to complete... and free. i downloaded em all, printed em out, hole punched em, and put em in a 3 ring binder.

yeah, they should be pretty similar though. my rig is an 83 too and i've used this a bunch.

The one BIG difference that the 83 addresses is the fluid recommendations for the T4 and T5 transmissions. Not sure what else, but you can also read a lot online about gear oil recommendations, etc.
