Ok, couple questions. I am back rebuilding this thing after a 3 year hiatus. I am finishing redoing the engine, i want to replace all the broken emissions and vac etc. lines and sensors. I did opt to remove the air pump, diverter valve etc as it seems like the consensus that it is an early crude power robbing emissions setup that is not necessary.
My biggest question is where can i get those CTO switches that screw into the block? Some of the little nipples are broken off the switches/valves. I've looked through quadratec, advanced auto parts, Carid.com and i cant find those things anywhere.

Well, i tossed the air pump and diverter valve, i want to hook the rest of the jeep up as close to stock as i can. So i was just going to use some of those diagrams that (i think you Matt) posted to hook up the rest of the emissions/vac etc. so it will run well. (and i realize that stock does not equal well!)
rockauto actually had them listed for my year and engine. They were the only site that did that.

That doesn't really address the question. I've posted a lot of different vac diagrams, depending on what systems the person wants to run.
For example, do you want to run the EGR? Your '78 also ran a combination ported/manifold vac advance system. Do want to replicate that? Both of those operated from separate CTOs from the factory.
Perhaps you can post the vac diagram you want to use, then we can go from there.
Matt
