The doors are also interchangeable, or so I've heard. __________________ 1986 Jeep CJ7 4.2L I6 T176 (restoration in progress) 1961 Willys 4x4 Wagon L-226 I6 T90 (restoration also in progress) |

Registered User Join Date: Jun 2001 Location: Mobile, Alabama Posts: 1,867 | My buddy had a YJ top on his CJ and it was a HUGE pain, if I remember correctly, he had to open the tailgate, then close the tailgate and the lift gate at the same time, but turn the liftgate handle to shut the liftgate, but the tailgate was left loose unless he climbed in and latched it from the inside.....I found a YJ with a CJ top on it and hooked the two up to trade.....each was way happier and saw how it was supposed to work.....JUST get a CJ top. __________________ Ed 1986 CJ-7 Laredo 1986 CJ-7 Trail Jeep project 1983 CJ-8 Looking for full or half hardtop buy or trade 1975 CJ-6 |
