wheel rim size vs. tire size...
i have the stock CJ rims (6 x 15) steel spoke and i would like to get a new set of tires Pro Comp 31X12.50R15. will these tires fit my existing rims? i want to make sure the 6" width is not too narrow for a 12.5" tire. thanks!

Yeah, too narrow.

They recommend 7-9 for 10.50 width tires and 8-10 for 12.50 width tires.

are you sure you mean 31x12.5?

(most 31's are 10.5 wide, which would be fine on a 6" rim)
