What's it worth?

New to Jeeps and looking for a project. I have no idea what this 75 CJ5 is worth. 14,600 miles on the odometer, rust issues at the bottom of the tailgate but the rest is surface only. Missing the front driveshaft, but it runs and drives. I want to build a weekend 4 wheeler not do a restoration.

Missing the front drive shaft could be an indication of differential problems.... seems like a good candidate for what your looking for. Around here would maybe go for around $1500???

Whats Next: Wide track swap, winch, new seats, eventually a 4.0 mpi swap from a 90's cherokee or wrangler.

ha! funniest thing I've read all week! Good one!

I'd easily pay $3000 for that thing in Texas if I was looking for a project, but since CJs are a dime a dozen in CO, it's probably worth a lot less there.

New intel. on this CJ. The 16k miles are original! It's a one owner that was used as a "shop" truck on site only. The best price I can haggle is 1200.00 Thoughts?

1200 isn't bad at all. Especially with it running. That top and door combo alone is worth close to $400 or $500. There is quite a bit missing and parts for a 75 are harded to track down. Depends how much work you are looking to do and how much fab you are willing to do.

if you'll be happy with it, then go for it. the top and doors are worth nearly half what he's asking for the whole jeep and it runs!. jy/craig's list parts should make it a reasonable project for you.

Sell the top and doors and you are off to a great start. looks like 1000-1500 investment into weekend fun!

That re-bar passenger seat frame is top notch, that's worth at least another $200 on the price!

I'm not buying the 16K original miles.

There's too many newish parts on that engine, and the hoses, fuel delivery, and wiring have all been reconfigured from the factory setup(note, the location of the fuel filter ). I doubt the PO would have done all of that with an engine that had less than 20K.

I would believe 116K, or 216K.
