What's the going rate for a used CJ7 tailgate?

I spotted one for sale locally, and judging from the pics, it looks to be in nice shape. The seller claims that there's no rust or bondo. Complete with the hinges. He's asking $200. Is that in the ballpark, is it too high, or is it a steal at that price?

You can find them cheaper than that on eBay.

I know a guy in Daytona that has a few. Not too far. Want me to see what he has? Pm me if so.

There is also a guy on CL in Port Charlotte right below you you could check with.

I got this one for $20 at a swapmeet. Just needed to fix one dent.

Stripped it

Painted it

Then I sold my original one below for $50 as is

When I am broke they go for cheap. When I have money the ones I find are too expensive for me to justify it. I want to spend $50 or less on one, LOL.

Score!! I found this one in GREAT condition on craigslist, and it was only 20 minutes from my house. The seller threw in the cable brackets too. I paid $100 for it.

Just to add to the discussion: I bought one from a classified ad on here last week. $40, very very little rust, no hinges. Great jeep community here
