What transfer case do I have?

1981 CJ7, 258, T176 trans, base model

The transfer case is leaking gear oil and I need to change the seals.

Thanks, Paul

Your going to have to crawl under and see. Most likely it's a d-300. I have a thread about the same thing. Someone posted the casting numbers on there so you can look

If original, it's a Dana 300. It takes 2 quarts of 80w90 gear oil.
