What motor mounts should I buy for dropping in a sbc 350?

I bought a sbc 350 out of a 95 silverado. What company of motor mounts should I get? I found 3 different companys, first is advance adapters which is cheapest, then novak which is in the middle, and m.o.r.e. which is the most expensive. Any info on these would help out a lot.

i used more's in mine. you have to consider your headers/manifolds when choosing motor mounts. your choice in mounts will often depend on which you are going to use; headers or manifolds. like i said, i have more mounts in mine, but i use shorty block hugger headers.

Moor Bomb-Proof FTW. All motor mounts should be this good.

I have used advance adapters on three different jeeps! Great mounts!!! Hands down the best! Don't go with headers stick to a ram horn manifold, which can be had cheaply... Under $40
HAVE FUN!

Two of my builds are threads here and both are using A.A. Mounts

I just purchased a set of these for putting a 305 into my cj5. I work away from home so I have not put my hands on them yet but my wife says that they are very heavy. I can let you know more about them this weekend, after I get home.

I'm probably going to run headers in my jeep, so out of those three which ones can I use?

x2. more's with shorty block huggers, or some rear dump style headers will work. i have the ceramic coated shortys from summit. very pleased with them so far, and half the price of the name brand headers.

I used the novak weld in for my SBC install. lots of versatility in mounting location. cleared my manifolds and steering with no problem.

I used M.O.R.E. with Sanderson shorty block hugger headers and really liked them. Can't beat bolt in "bomb proof" motor mounts!! I drilled a extra hole and made the others slightly larger to upgrade to 3/8 bolts and opted not to do any welding. I had a 290 hp crate motor and am now building a 350+ hp motor to put in for this summer and am not worried one bit those mounts won't be up for my abuse!

Chevy V8 engine mounts

Hey South Shore,

Why did you drill an extra hole? Did you have too or just wnat to? How many holes are in the MORE mounts that bolt to stock frame without modification.

I am trying to figure what motor mounts to buy for my 350. I have an NV4500 behind it. I don't want weld in mounts. I trying to find the best bolt mounts I can find that will bolt in without having to change anything else. I also don't want to cut the front differential stop off the frame on passenger side.

Will the MORE engine mounts work with no modification?
