what to look for in a GOOD amc v8 timing cover

i am assembling my 360 for my cj and i have the choice of 2 different timing covers i had leftover. i understand that the oil pump is integrated into the front cover what problems can this cause? i want to use the best part i can so tell me what to look for.

were the oil pump gears go it should not be chewed up on the sides on the part that the oil filter goes on there are 2 styles one that has a sharp bend in it and the other that has a nice bend in it
