I'm a huge fan of Hoppes #9. Or old RBC if you can find it anymore.

No, but I'm sure we could go on for pages and pages about how far the air freshener should hang from the mirror to get the optimum scent.

A master mechanic told to me to hang it in front of the heater blower for maximum performance.

I heard in church that UV rays break down the scent, so you shouldn't hang them from your mirror, but place them under your seat cover.

Thanks for all the responses, gentlemen.

After careful deliberation, I think I've found the perfect scent for my CJ....Tink's #69 Doe-in-Rut Buck Lure

It even comes with a convenient "Scent Bomb" dispenser.

Matt, I know you're half serious/ half kidding with this thread (I remember Wilderness) but I love the smell of Tink's 69. It reminds me of 5 AM October mornings when I was 16. Every time I catch a whiff it makes me 20 years younger. Because of school, I only post once every other week or so, but I had to chime in here. Thanks Buddy.

WNC,

Psssst....between you and me, that wasn't Tink's you were smelling. Did you ever kick that bed-wetting habit?

Sorry, I'm feeling ornery tonight.

I'm glad you enjoyed the thread, and thanks for chiming in.

Matt

This is true. I read it on the Internet.

JK owners will want to put the air freshener under the poodle warmer if their Jeep is equipped with that package. I think that package also includes a espresso maker and Dolby 17.4 surround sound with 29 speakers and five blu-ray players (one for each seat, and one for the poodle warmer)

Hmmm I am suspecting that Matt with his "BS" Bronco Stuff and Tinks has lowered his "coefficient of friction" on his Heep. The reason I say this is that with such a foul smell, not even air molecules want to get near the Heep thus lowering the drag on the vehicle.
Now I am curious to see if this condition also makes his Heep run lean.

I don't know about running lean, but I did have a nice buck humping my spare tire this morning.
