I just installed cleaned up and installed an underhood light I've had waiting on an old wiring harness.

Looks kinda cool, and I can think of a few times it would have come in handy...

Well I spent 10 minutes in the garage tonight and put the under dash lights in.

These are original CJ lights screws and wire clips.

I did not know where the clips were supposed to go so I just guessed.

Thanks, I'm going to have to crawl back under the dash and straighten up the driver's side light, tough to see up there

I cut off two ugly bumpers and took out the seats and the crappy corner guards. Slowly stripping her down to the frame.

Found this after hooking a tree with the front bumper yesterday. Not sure whether to fix it, or make a set of tube fenders.
I like the original look, but am leaning towards the tube fenders for being able to take the abuse better.

Ouch! That sucks! We could however use a good thread on fiberglass repair!

I bought me a new chrome breather assy for my 77 cj5. Cold and rainy here in Arkansas today so I didn't put it on. Maybe it will be warm one evening this week and I can put it on.

Well today I took care of a good bit of business. Got the rear shackle hanger fixed and welded back into place. Also beefed it up a bit. Made a mount and mounted my hi lift to my rear bumper. Got my engine running right and maybe figured out what was draining my battery. Also flexed on a small hill with a friend that helped me fix it. Wasn't much but definitely expect a whole lot more to come. Especially bigger hills and some trails. Here's some pics. Y'all enjoy and let me know what you think. Definitely not as much flex as I can get but it's all I had close to the shop so I had to make do. Just wanted to make sure all the new brackets and welds would hold up.

This isn't mine but it looks so nice I had to share it's progress. Last year my buddy did this

image-2829328820.jpg

That was probably back in may. Over the summer his dad completely tore it down. Bought an old cj and took the fenders, windshield and whatever other parts were broken off that to use. He rebuild a chevy 350 to use as the new engine. Now I'll let the pics speak for themselves for where he's at. Powder coated everything under the body while that was getting painted

image-2287605942.jpg

Then he started putting the body back on

image-54512628.jpg

image-2403186792.jpg

image-4287711968.jpg

I cannot wait for him to finish. I'll put more in here as he puts everything back together
