looks like a lot of fun. wet boulders are a challenge. Private land? Here in the west, creek driving is a big no no and usually invites a huge sh!!!t storm from the BLM or USFS. Still, its a lot of fun for sure...

$10 at the local hardware store for the lynch pins, a little cutting, a little grinding, a little welding, and a little drilling and I had new end links.

NICE!

This is the fun part of the Jeep hobby. Other true CJ people never question where the parts originated from, because as we all know AMC stood for Another Manufacturers Components

It's a mix between public and state game lands. The creek isn't really a creek, it's just there when there's runoff. Normally it's just a semi-wet rocky gulch in a small valley that collects the runoff. It had rained pretty hard the day before.
Here's how it normally looks.

The Game Commission officers patrol out there pretty regularly, and explained to us where we can and can't go. There is a trout stocked creek that runs through, and as long as we go straight across it they are fine with it.

The traction was actually pretty good that day. In the summer, the rocks are covered with a layer of slippery moss.

Replaced body mount bushings. Added poison spyder Ricochet Rockers! They give the jeep a whole new look.

Didn't get any work done on the CJ but I rearranged the garage and finally setup my work bench. It will be a lot easier to find stuff and work on smaller parts on the bench. Especially when I take the heads off in the next few weeks

Today I finished my CCFab fender install. I will get pictures in the daylight. And also installed my new steering dampener. Man did that thing make a big difference!

There is my build thread. That is what they looked like when I was mocking them up before paint. Like I said once I get some daylight I'll get some better pics of everything completed.

Thanks,
Merritt

Just bumped it over with the starter for the first time in ~6 months. I upgraded to an HEI distributor, repainted my engine block, did a 4.0 head conversion, modified a 97 ish FI intake so my new upgraded Motorcraft 2100 can fit on it (previously a carter 1 bbl), added a new exhaust manifold, replaced a rusted out radiator, put in a new disk brake front axle along with a new master cylinder to make it work... I think that's it besides my new bumper I made and the minimal body work ive done. This weekend I'm going to install the rest of my exhaust with my new Flowmaster series 40 muffler and then start her up and marvel at what Ive done.

And I couldnt have done it with everyones help on this forum.

Also BTW apparently the started solenoid must be grounded before you starter motor will work. took a bit of Googling to figure that out.
