Just finished up putting the DANA 30 widetrack into my 76 CJ7.
replaced the ball joints, outer bearings, seals, 6 bolt hubs, mile marker lockouts, etc.... Tonight I am trying to align the front end so it will steer decent enough to take it to alignment shop...
Going to drill out the welds on my 76 Bronco donor axles and look into changing the axle tubes to the lengths I want. Then order some axles to go inside....
Still have to fix rich fuel condition, Vacuum leak under carb, and clean up all the screwy wiring the previous owner did....
The I can figure out if I need a new temp gauge or if the aftermarket one is fried, fix the transmission shift linkage (can't tell what gear I am in and it is very loose) due to the 5 inches or so of lift.
And shop for TIRES!!!!
That is my week in a nutshell... hope it doesn't rain every day...
Just got my box to change out the handle's on my hard doors and the lock on the hard top. The locks didn't work on the old ones and some little you know what has taken the oppourtunity to get in my jeep 3 times in the last 2 months and tear into my console.
Worse part is he has destroyed the consloe looking for whatever, best part is he has never taken anything. He must not be a 4 wheeler beacuse he has left my tow strap, my winch control, my CB mic, i take it off and store it there when not in use, a full electrical seal pack kit and a fluke 87.

1981 CJ5 ground up restro in progress, finished product will have: 4.2 w/ a 4.0 head conversion, headers, Howell TBI, HEI, D300, AMC 20, D30, 3" lift w/ 33x12.50 BFG. All new hardware, all diffs rebuilt.
