I haven't decided yet. I sanded it with 600 today and am wondering how it will look against the gloss. I'll fit up the dash after I can touch it and see if I like the contrast.Glossy. I like. Painting steering column collar too?
Were trying to correct steering issues or driveline vibration issues? Did the 4* affect your driveshaft angle at all?ELSchlotty said:4 deg caster shims installed. Pretty easy job w/e/o the old center pins that had to be cut off. Now I need to get her out on the road and see if the steering has improved.
Was looking to correct steering issues. PO had installed a 4" spring lift and 1" longer shackles and steering wandered pretty bad. The shims definitely improved steering...still a 30 year old truck but much better steering at speed. Not sure about front driveshaft angle but the rig will get mostly street use so not overly concerned. Were trying to correct steering issues or driveline vibration issues?
