I have been keeping my eyes open all day for something to use. I'll take a trip to the hardware store tomorrow.

I also learned that if you forget to let the 120 psi out of the bumper when you try to weld up a pin hole, the pin hole will turn in to a big hole.
Took me a few seconds to realize why my weld puddle was flying everywhere.

Bolted on my front bumper that was nearly torn off when I pulled my Ford F250 to the shop to charge the battery , it only had the top bolts and they were loose , then I put my factory draw bar hitch back on looks pretty cool , I didn't use grade 8 bolt though I used grade 5 I will have to go get some grade 8 hardware and do it right .

B/C for grey. For the texture I went with truck bed liner.

Why not reach into your wallet and take out that 12 year old TROJAN. It's Pre-Lubed, and the ribs should help it stay on!
.
RARECJ8, That is some mighty fine work. Looks perfectly symmetrical and the gaps are all even. Bravo, Sir.

Maybe go into the fender w/a "U" shaped cut on the pipe, and use neoprene washers, and bolt thru? But hey, w/your skillz I'm sure you have it covered.

I use a old worn out quick connect, either the male or female end, with a cap or plug on the threads.
With the rubber caps, I would use something like paracord, or a old shoestring attached , to try to keep from losing the cap.

Give this a try. Go to a hose and fitting place for the cap with built in leash.

Do have a drain. Its just a flush plug i need to remove. Antything sticking down from the bottom would get torn off.

Changed out a leaking freeze plug and filled her up with antifreeze. Just in time too. Cold front coming in with below freezing temps and PO had very little antifreeze in it, mostly water

Ok, the tank is out

Not the sending unit or the ground, the float is full of gas.

The gas tank is not in the best of shape.

Found the right tank with help on on 4WD, Quadratec matched the price
http://www.quadratec.com/products/51306_03_07.htm

New tank, hoses are ordered, will get after the brackets and tank shield this week, should be ready to go back in next weekend.

Extended one arm of my t-handle that i use to secure my rear tire carrier. Now i don't need a wrench to loosen it after a day on the trails
