I've been wanting to paint my CJ and get a clear coat on before winter so I did just that. Took a few days to get it all prepped and painted but I did it in my garage. The last clear coat is drying right now and then I'll seal it for the winter and give it a nice wax finish in a few weeks. I still need to paint the top a nice Satin Black, that's next.

Looks good! And the tan hardtop on white doesn't look bad- personally, I actually like it more than black.

Thanks esalamanca_usmc and gazzo! Today I was on my driveway and put it in neutral and my parking brake wasn't working, it got replaced recently so it obviously stretched a bit. Tightened that up and while I was under there I did some inspecting. I have no clue what the PO did aside from get the engine rebuilt before I got it, found a rebuilt sticker on the transmission but no date and I still have the original Dana 300 Transfer case. Next I want to figure out what axles I have and a few other things and fill out my jeep sheet on here finally.

The good: Installed the winch cable
The bad: Dead battery (on the charger now)
