If it is temporary (the cold weather), you can put some of that "no residue" blue masking tape from 3M on the zippers, not a fix but a decent bandaid. The blazer heater motor upgrade is helpful too.

20°F, thats nuts! people die in California in 40°F weather.
You can always tell the people that have moved here from CA... They carry umbrellas in the rain!

What kind of troubles are you having? Would photos of one already installed be helpful?

Today I tested my MC to see if it was leaking. I occasionally have the pedal go to the floor. No particular schedule, just now and then. Usually at the most in opportune time! I plugged both output ports and had solid pedal. Checked each wheel, no leaks! Can a MC be intermittent?

That's typical of clutch mc's with bad piston seals I believe

I've been called worse There is a limit on how much rain you are allowed to drive in? Interesting~ When we have 8 or 12 inches of fresh snow on the roads and it's still coming down everyone is "encouraged" to stay home unless they have to go somewhere, but anyone that wants to chance it is more than welcome.

My wife's car is non-functional at the moment so I'm driving the Jeep every day. Normally I would use it as a stand by vehicle to do maintenance on my CJ. Currently any repair I do needs to be achievable in the couple hours I can squeeze out of a workday evening or over the weekend. But, being the slacker I am, we are still gathering firewood for the winter and Saturdays will be spent chasing the elusive whitetail deer. Some type of heater blower upgrade is on my list to investigate/install when I have time. The lower the mercury gets the higher on my to-do list it gets...

Just had an issue with enough throw. I'm going to put an adjustable push rod on the slave cylinder.

I am kidding about the rain limit, it's just californians are not built for rain, it's like cooties. I remember when I worked for a field service company as a mechanic and getting those 5am calls not to show up for work and having it be a perfect day after all.

Lists are absolutely subject to priority! Just like the mercury LOL

Cheers,
WSS
