Installed a fuel pressure gauge and finally mounted my winch plate and front stinger. Front bumper is almost done now

Had some pretty bad flat tyre (tire) action on the long red car over the weekend. Realized the rim are all bad azz rusted at the beads so they all came back to town with me to have a spa at the powdercoaters. Blast, metal spray then Titanium silver p coat. I reckon silver waggies go well on this CJ. Will post pix on completion. I know silver's not an original wheel colour on CJs but ever since I had a Cherokee with silver rims I just liked the look.

Gazzo, I spray canned mine with aluminum paint. Looks great to me, even though there are runs and rust coming thru.

Yesterday I went out and bought myself a Spectre filter to replace the stock one on my Carb and got a breather filter so I didn't have to run any hoses. I ended up having to fabricate my own 3 inch intake tube to connect the filter to the seal, some block and hose got in the way of the filter just sitting right on it. Took it for a drive afterwards and I could feel it but not enough, so I took out the spark plugs for the first time since I got it a few months ago. I guess I figured wrong when I thought because the PO had the engine rebuilt and I got it with 300 miles on it that he installed new plugs... he put in his old Spark Plugs back in which come to find out were pretty much completely burnt out. Swapped those out with some brand new Autolites I picked up at Walmart. I basically have a new car now, all of my HP and more came back and now I can feel the jeep push me back into my seat when I hit the gas and listen to the engine roar and the engulf air through my new filter. For $65 I have a new car and I am loving it, so glad I fixed that issue I was having. Next step is to order some shocks and replace probably what are 16 year old shocks currently.

getting ready for the cold

Getting hardtop ready for winter,,, painted inside with appliance white paint.
Outside was rhino lined last year and it was a bad job, so I am repainting it myself..
Best thing to share is the Scotch blue exterior tape, last up to seven days exposed but the best thing is it will go make angles and circles a breeze and it wont break like regular painters tape.
