Thinking I had all the components for the rear drum brakes I put her on jack stands. Then I find out I just have one drum backing plate abs no drums just 2 sets of fronts.

Picked up a Warn 8274 at a great price. Checking out the gears and installing a new break kit, synthetic rope and some paint.

Replaced trans mount finally, wired KC lights, and hacked out the old exhaust for new quieter exhaust.

Made another attempt at fixing the gas gauge with no luck. I have an auto meter gauge that is rated at 73 ohms empty and 8-12 ohms full. It picks up off of the peg a little with key on but that's all. I'm showing 22.5 ohms on the pink wire at the gauge, so in theory it should be showing about a half tank. I got tired of messing with it and gave up again. One day I'll get it.

Just leave your meter attached. Much better accuracy! Or check the ground

Installed rear diamond plate corners, cleaned carb needle and seat, painted back half of jeep, including new corners, installed new water pump, and filled and burped system.

I also ordered seat risers for driver and passenger sides

Driving home last night my brake pedal went soft, apparently the bleeder nipple on my rear left tires drum loosened and bled out. Went out this morning to check and there was the rest of the brake fluid pooled under my tire. Filled it back up and tightened it back up and as good as new now. Really glad I hit all green lights coming home.

Stuck the new-to-me motor between the frame rails for the third time and bolted 'er in.

....one of these days I'll learn to slow down.
