Got the new rad put in and all buttoned up. Finally get to drive it again. Just in time for a high 40's drive to work tomorrow morning. I'm not ready for these chilly mornings just yet, I'd better bundle up for the ride.

Hydroboost

Hydroboost and master cylinder in place along with hoses. Still have to bleed both and hook up brake lines to prop valve this weekend. It was a PITA to find fittings in this town. Finally found what I needed at Pure Choice Motorsports.

That top line looks like it will rub on the bonnet when its lowered.

(oh, bonnet = hood. Aussie translator provided free of charge )

Just looks that way. Nice country you have, been to Sydney and Newcastle back in my Navy days. The opry house and harbor were very cool, and the beer.

Found the leak on top my fuel tank and fixed it. The tube going through the sending unit had broken loose. I re soldered it. Found fuel inside the sending unit the plastic float replaced it with the brass float. The plastic screen on the inside of the fuel tank had disintegrated and fallen apart. So I replaced it with copper tubing. I attached a picture. The picture is actually looking inside the tank through the filler neck at the copper tube in place of the plastic screen. The location of the pickup hole is just about in the same place the plastic screen would be in relationship to the bottom of the tank. You can actually see where the plastic screen rubbed on the bottom of the tank. The other picture is what's left of the plastic screen, after the screen fell off of it. It shows the pick up hole was actually held up a little bit by the bottom or outer diameter where the screen would have been.

I installed a new bumper on the front on my CJ7 after work tonight.
A before and after shot.
Nice bumper, but I like your old one too! My CJ has a standard jeep bumper that is bent to hell

That's spot on! Standard width rims right? Kinda sucks about the weights though. Helluva difference between front and rear tyres
