Drove it to my in-laws after work to mow their lawn. Once I was done, I drove it home.
Oh, during the 2 mile trip back home, I had a guy throw up a thumbs up and he yelled "b1tchin' Jeep dude".

Went for a drive this evening. What started out as a trip to a friends house a couple blocks away ended up being over 3 hours and stopped at Cabelas along the way.....

Took it out on a short trip. While out it started making a high pitched "whistle" or "whine" under acceleration. I couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from. It didn't sound like a belt so tomorrow I have to set aside some time to track this down.

My first thought on a "whistle" would be a vacuum leak, but that should be less noticable on acceleration... I guess the best thing to do is follow your ears.

Good Luck!

My thought was power steering or a belt.

I added the relays to the headlights. Used a premade harness from Summit, worked quite well. I had to extend the wires due to my fiberglass body though.

I havent taken it out on the road yet, but just from testing them in the garage they are much brighter. Im going to convert to an H4 set up too. Just trying to find the kit. It took me about two hours because I had to cut and splice each wire and then run dedicated grounds.

Worked on Dad's CJ5 today. Built a Z bracket to support the ALT. Built a couple brackets to install the Ford Exploder 6-way power seats in it. Got them all bolted in and wired up... Comfy.

Team Rushed with a lot of help from Jeephammer's thread. Replaced Dana 20 transfer case shifter boot, windshield wipers, oil pressure gauge, and added some sealant to my valve cover gasket. Then I went "mall crawl" per se. Purrs like a 34 year old kitten.

Pulled off both front fenders, front grill, degreased firewall, and front frame, and grill, and radiator, sanded down grilll and fenders to bare metal, and painted frame and fire wall.. the rest of the parts Im keeping in my living room untill the rain passes, so my bare metal doesnt rust. My wife loves this!!!
