4wd on the pavement? Trying to figure out the scenario...

Are you a member of the JBLM Military Jeepers? Had a couple of great runs with them up at Walker Valley.

Hubs locked in? The front driveline should not spin when in 2wd high, hubs unlocked.

Guessing you have a Dana 20 transfer case on your T18.

Pattern on the Dana 20

4 high
2 high
Neutral
4 low.

My WAG is you have it 4 hi, possibly due to worn linkage. When shifting from 4 low to 2 high I stop in netural let the clutch out I gear to insure netural, and move the lever to 2 hi.

Bill

You sir are correct. That's my setup. I may have had it in 4 hi. Thank you for giving me the pattern. The guy I bought it from couldn't tell me that.

Pulled the tank out of the skid plate. Hit both in and out with the flap wheels. Wiped down everything with a shop rag doused with brake cleaner. Applied 1 of 3 coats of Rustoleum paint. Need to hit it with the second coat before bed. Finally starting to move forward again.

Still fighting my turn signals, grrrrrrr

Someone please tell me is/where is there a 2nd flasher somewhere under the dash of a 79. I have a brown square relay looking thing, but cannot find the 2nd flasher that I have been told is there. I have no hazards and no turn signals, everything else works.
