Pressed out 3 ball joints on the 34 year old rusted dana 30 steering knuckles. One left to go.

Took it off the trailer and parked it back by the shop.

Apparently I did not make the wife happy when I turned sharp in the front yard and the locked up rear axle and deep tread mud tires dug a nice arched hole in the grass..... LOL.....Oops....

Brown Santa just stopped by and dropped off some high steer knuckles that I had ordered for my one tons. One step closer!

Replaced leaking power steering gear box with new box.

EDIT: drove to work today, and noticed that the new box has developed a large leak within the 3 miles it took me to get there!

Loaded her on the trailer to bring her back to our shop to weld in full width brackets and prepare for axles!

So today I re did the spade terminals and soldered 'em on. And remembered to put heat shrink on BEFORE you put the terminals on. Put the wires in some conduit and a dab of liquid electrical tape to help seal it off and some dialetric grease. And then ofcourse put my tunnel cover and shifter boots etc. back on.

And the oppurtunity to do this was because my t176 had the notorious stuck in gear problem so I lined the shift fork gates back up and put it back together.

The key to any solder joint is flux. That stuff is amazing.
