Judging by the 5 leaf springs on an SOA with no visible antiwrap system. I'd say axle wrap killed your driveshaft yoke. just a guess mind you

Yeah it definitely contributed to it. But I'm less than a month away from swapping in my axles so I'm not going to worry about making an anti wrap on this axle.

While under it greasing the rear driveshaft, I noticed where the shackle for the anti wrap bar kissed the transfer case. Didn't do any damage, but I didn't want it to eventually punch a hole in it.
Made a 1" shorter shackle to (hopefully) give me the clearance I need when it flexes fully.
I like quick, simple jobs like that.

Greased it up, checked all of the fluids, loaded up the tool box to get ready to go wheeling tomorrow. It's the first time out since I tore up the front ring gear a few weeks ago.

More Jeep time with little man:-)

Finished the painless under the hood then piddled with the tail lights some as it was threatening rain all afternoon.
Great times!

I saw that somebody posted in a different thread to check your u bolts. Well I figured I would give mine a look and low and behold they were loose. I tightened them and also tightened my Crabtree shackle mounts. I am wondering if the u bolts being so loose that was effecting my driveline, meaning I was getting some vibration when I let off the gas?

I tried to solder my spade terminals to the wires for my reverse light switch but failed miserably. I melted a spot on my line-x and bent the spade terminals all to hell. Screw it I don't need reverse lights for tomorrow while its light out. I"m not even gonna screw down my tunnel cover and boot. Will fix tomorrow I guess. Dam# it
