Started packing it up for the trip to the Bantam Jeep Festival in Butler.

I think my next project needs to be a nice big rack. I have just enough room left for a bag of clothes, and my beer cooler.

Unhooked the sway bar and stowed it. Started going over my packing list for this weekend. We're taking a bunch of wounded Vet's wheeling through a local program "Wheeling with the Wounded" out of Ft. Lewis. Also taking along a bunch of Military Jeepers from JBLM.

After one week of hard pulling with a bad cheap (18$) puller : I was affraid to break it...but... the pitman arm is finally free !!!

They were together for almost 32 years...

Patience pays always...

Some pics of my redneck engineering fails:

with more or less improblable tool kits:

stgil....isn't that the greatest feeling when it FINALLY budges? Even just a millimeter? And yes, 1 week, and a "rube Goldberg" mindset seems about right to get this job done. I ALMOST bought a new s-box instead of getting nowhere on the 6th day. And you did it w/o heat? Congrats!

Thanks Hutch1200

About the heat, I've tried too... No result...

Checked the flex and clearance with newly broken in RC springs. Not bad flex for the reputation if RC. I've been happy with the ride and articulation. Limitation is rear tires hitting fenders (35s need to go down to 33s). Front spring hitting part of bumper that hangs down.

It's a Willys wagon. It's the same body style on the front as a pickup. Production IIRC ran from '46to '65. This one must be in the 60's due to it doesn't have a split windshield.

I have a '57 pickup Daniel. Mine has a 1958/59 283 Chevy, 435/ Dana 18 by way of a adapter.
