The copper pipe would be a sweet idea. I like that one. I use an ARB onboard air pump for my tires and that mofo gets hot! Maybe I'll try the copper tube on it to a tank.

My 258 is currently sitting on the engine stand in my shop. The reason I think it blew was because the PO had it idleing at 2500rpm. I no longer have that jeep I parted it out.

Thanks for the heads up! I was hoping that was the case. The first 18" from the compressor head is the ss braid to a aluminum manifold, then the rest is the DOT brake line.

Another reason why I don't like the round compressors being used for OBA. Love my York!

I like my round comp! The best feature was the price ($0) LOL

I have mine setup to operate even if the tank is destroyed or if the engine will not start. I can still air up for the (flat) tow home.

I have a 7 gallon behind my rear seat, takes about 30 seconds to go from 9psi to 25psi in the tires. With the tank, I can run a 1/2" impact gun with no issues.

What kind of cfm does it output? That is impressive. Mine can output about 4cfm.
