I got my driver seat mounted back up. I'm going to try and get it to pass safety and emmisions tomorrow night and plates on Thursday morning before work assuming everything passes. I still need to figure out how to get the wipers linked together. The motor works and all the parts seem to be there. I just can't get the motor arm to compress enough on the post. I went for a joyride after the seat was back in. Ahhhh, runs like a dream. :-)

Utah Jeep Crew #178
Started out with a oil change and a tune up. But when I was underneath it, I noticed that 2 of the 4 bolts that hold the transmission to the bell housing were gone, and the other 2 were about to fall out. I figured that was bad, so I went to autozone and got some new bolts and lock washers. turns out all kinds of strange noises disappeared, it shifts easier, and it doesnt pop out of 4 th gear anymore. Also put in some new headlights, so I can actually see where I am going now. Not a bad nights work!
Just put new u-joints on driveshaft. Now waiting for it to warm up a bit before putting it back in, in not lookin forward to it there is a foot of snow on the ground. Hopefully I will get her running today and go play in the snow.
Any pics of your jeep? Sounds like you've done a lot in just a couple weeks

I've got lots of photos of the Jeep, before during and after most steps. I've considered starting a build thread. I'm a new member to the forum so I haven't posted any photos yet. Right now they are just on Facebook. I'm planning to buy a membership this week, then I'll probably do both.
At this point I have the Jeep to the point that it will start and I can drive it around the yard. There is one soft spot in the frame next to the gas tank on the passenger side, and major body issues to contend with. I think the only way to get it all fixed right will be to remove the tub and fix everything from the ground up.
I also happen to have a '90 GMC Suburban project that I started three years ago . Now that I've determined I can fix the Jeep it's time to weigh in... The Suburban project is much further along and I'll be focusing on getting that on the road before I really tear in to the Jeep. So the build thread would be a bunch of initial pictures as my starting point, but otherwise on hold for the next several months.
Installed rampage halogen headlights, pretty decent fit, look good but not sure I'm impressed with them yet. Seems my dimmer switch isn't working so I'll have too see about that and see what else may be holding them back.
Sounds like you may want to update your headlight harness to one with heavier wiring and relays to get the most potential.
