Got some fiberglass repair done to the under side of the tub. Hopefully it will be back on tomorrow.

I'm not QUITE that bad.

I was more afraid of the wind kicking up and blowing it over against the truck more than it coming towards me. My son stood there and had it balanced with one hand while I hooked up the strap.

Sitting here looking at a new HEI still in the box, drove to the car wash and deposited 10lb of mud and $10.00
Plan on installing the new HEI in the am.

Bought a few more parts.....dimmer switch, fuel sending unit, HD flasher relay, original windshield hinges. The last few days I've been weeding out and adding to crap wiring. Ran a dedicated ground from the battery back to the fuel sending unit. I also ran one to the speedo. No wonder no one ever gets their fuel gauge working.....talk about a clusterflop.

Hell no. Sending unit is on order and I believe I need a new gauge...it passes all the tests EXCEPT grounding it out to get a full sweep.

Started stripping the firewall and the rest of the accessories off the engine. Waiting on a few gaskets to show up and then it's time to disassemble, clean and paint some of the engine parts and accessories so I have a cleaner engine bay!

ARB are pretty much useless when it comes to CJ's. Order the YJ springs front and rear and get some 2.5" wide spring hangers for the front. I also got new spring plates to suit the wider front springs. There are some other bits that will make it easier to do the install but when your ready PM me or gimme a call.

Yeah, I've been just cleaning up and reprint a lot of the smaller parts to keep everything from rusting. The tub is going on tomorrow come hell or high water, before we get more snow on Sunday.
I'm still waiting on my new Doetsch(?) Tech shocks to arrive. I hope I measured correctly.

It's already done unfortunately, I went with Ranchos as they were easy to get. Boy that was a mistake, my crook back is taking a pounding. Heard lots of good reports on the ome springs though.

Mother Nature painted her with pollen, but more importantly she got approved for "Antique" status!! No more yearly inspections and its a one-time registration so I don't have to keep renewing it every 4 years.

You know you spend too much time here when you search through CJ pics on Google image for info and ideas, and you recognize most of the Jeeps there. I was just looking at pictures of bedliner jobs, and saw six or seven I knew right off the bat.
