Finished swapping to the H1 box to replace worn out power steering box. Also added RR HD mount and cross brace and replaced drag link with a HD unit. Was going to do the tie rod as well but it will hit suspension. Geuss I will hold off until I get a lift kit.

Pulled apart the passenger hub and added a port so it can be greased easily. Planning to powdercoat the parts and put it back together, hopefully before the weekend!

Nothing. Spent the day with my son tearing down the top end of his '99 Nissan Frontier to replace the head gasket. Can't believe all the stuff attached to the intake manifold on a 4 cylinder. Would much rather be working on the CJ. Hopefully I can get it wrapped up tomorrow and get back to the 5.

Ya, the PO had trouble staying out of the rocks LOL. I will solve the rock problem soon with tube fenders. This time we'll use rattle can to touch up the boo-boos

PS, what do ya'll think of these?

I'm a big fan of the blue torch fab do it yourself kit. It's cheap, and it looks super tough. But those look nice too

If it was a offroad only rig they would be my #1 choice. I had looked at them a few months ago. Here in the Republik of Kalifornia, a "fender" is required and even a slight flair will keep the uplines happy. The trick is to have as few red flags as possible. I am a little nervous about the windshield dash bars right now and may end up using heims if I cannot keep the goferit inserts tight, yet another flag.

I am going to give one of their diff covers a try, if it works i'll do a second one.

Got my replacement Super Top today. And, drum roll please....... all the parts are there. Thank you Morris 4x4 for getting the new one shipped out in two days. That is good customer service. If I get my son's Nissan running tomorrow I can put the soft top on this weekend.
