The wheel house notch works great, I also lowered the pedals about 2.5" to gain some knee room. Next will be a tilt column!

Built a mount around the winch for my HIDs and got a short stinger bent up and notched.

Yes, the Gilles car has a diesel engine as 3000 jeep
CJ7 selled By Renault (only 500 cars was equiped by a gasoline engine, a 2l engine, and any with american engine)

Installed a Powr Lok in my rear axlle. As soon as my bearing retainer gets here, will be installing a T98 transmission.

Washed 200lbs of mud off the Jeep. Found where I smacked a big rock last weekend...





Also ordered some new brake lines. The passenger side failed right where the hardline and the rubber meet. Vice grips solved that and got me home.

Did a ton of misc stuff today all updated in the build thread but cleaned the fire wall and finally put a coat of primer on it.....so now the complaints can stop...lol

Todays jeep news.....
Prep'd the frame and painted the new welds and brackets up with por-15, bolted the radiator and filled it , wired to fuel pump relay in and fuel pump, finished bolting the transmission crossmember and exhaust , tested battery connection all lights are working and gauges, powder coated brake reservoir cap, ......
