Fixed my accel pedal, it was too high after the sbc conversion and had my foot flexed and was uncomfortable after a few minutes of low rpm cruising. I had to change the leverage ratio by lowering the spot that the cable mounted on the carb linkage and then bent the pedal rod to match, now full throttle and lower to the floor! Painted the pedal assembly too while it was out. Also tightened up the gear shift throttle while at the linkage.

Started on the tube doors this evening.

That would be a trashed cj7 top with the sides cut off and trimmed at the rear where there is a groove separating the lift gate cap from the main body. Its mounted with screws to the windhield frame and has mounts i whipped up for the roll bar. It doesnt quite meet the doors but 2 rain storms and a snow storm and my seats are dry.

Later I will make it mount differently so it can be quickly removed and slid or folded back.

I found your thread about the top and subscribed. I am looking forward to seeing how this project goes.

I went to a design your own T-shirt site to make the "You know you drive a CJ when" T-shirt I have always wanted to make to pay homage to the thread.

I quickly found out just how many great posts there are on that thread, and it made it impossible to choose a handful to use. There is no way to narrow it down to a dozen or so.
