Tried unsuccessfully to flare my brake lines. Borrowing a better flaring tool on Monday to try again.

Gave up and started making some brackets to mount my TJ rear bumper to the new frame. At least I got something accomplished.

Next issue i had is now resolved....

I managed to get some Crabtree spring hangers off an awesome fellow member but they use 3 bolts to mount rather than 2 like the stock ones. There is no 3rd hold so getting a drill bit through a chassis rail with a hand drill while the car is on axle stands is quite a challenge.

Here is the solution that my friend Mr Ebay

15 tonne clamping force AND it just happened to come with the right sized bit in the box, nice score for $100

Nice mag drill. I hate buying bits for them... they are expensive.

Working 7 days a week, noon to 9pm. I managed to get up early and drive 2 hours to pick up a Detroit locker.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check Made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'

Cut a washer out and squeeze it closed with your pliers.

There are two theories to arguing with a woman....................Neither works.
