Alright. Sounds good. I still have no money so it'll be a while. Let me learn how to save money... Overdrafts suck especially when your almost out of savings money.

Spent the day yet again on frame repairs. One more rear spring hanger to go, then it's all down hill from there.

Got the outer rail welded up from the inside also.

Added some nuts for my shackle hangers.

Cut a piece to box in the inner rail.

Decided before I put everything away for the night to add some 1/2" mounting holes with crush sleeves. Future bumper frame mount???

Cleaned everything up some with a sanding disk so it looks half respectable.

One more side to go................

Beefed up my spare tire holder. Built a new '' thicker'' mounting point and added a Hitch Pin to secure. Drill and Tap broken bolt on the hinge and replaced with a cap that has a bolt welded to the underside. I use Gasket Sealer on the threads which helps keep the cap from unscrewing, but is also easy to remove. Added some supports to try and stop some movement of the spare and was able to "slow" it down a little. Anyway it looks like the extra bracing will help out in the long run..
Sorry for the Huge pics.- forgot to resize

I'm running Warn hubs front & Back on my CJ - One of my back ones was getting very difficult to turn - I went to 4 wheel parts in Sacramento to buy a new set of hubs - he said you know they have a life time guarantee? I said I did not - I explained to him that they were on the jeep when I bought it - he said doesn't matter - I went back home - removed the back set - took them into 4 Wheel Parts - one of them had a crack in the housing - he gave me a new set - no charge! - How's that for service - From Warn & 4 Wheel Parts! - Tom

Nice work, did you do all that with stick? That is a true "frame off" for sure.

Using a stick for everything. The frame that is under it now was a quick patch job, and within two years its now falling apart. I'm hoping to never have to do this again. It's too much work.lol

Well today I cut some tubes and plates, made a bracket and started on my roll cage. Got it all in with just a bead on each. Going to go back and fully weld it all tomorrow. Maybe even add a few new bars! Here's some pics!

That's what mine was but luckily it was kept in a garage for the 5 years before I got it.

Sadly I took very little pics when I redid my frame. I did the same as you but didn't cut out huge chunks. And now she's powder coated.

I had taken pictures of the process using a camera instead of my iphone downloading them to my computer and deleted them from the camera. I was going to post this but a couple of days later the hard drive in my computer went bad and I lost them.
