Drove it 54 miles today. Happy with the caster correction, much better drivability.
Not to thrilled that my speedometer quit.

I know I posted about my speedometer 2 other posts ago, but I will drive it anyway, and I forget things like that from day to day. This has to be the third or fourth time I've looked down and said " dang speed o quit."

Ehh mine quit a while ago too, I just play it by feel now around town and use my smart phone if I'm going to be doing higher speeds

Mine was never correct anyway (tires/gears). I had a GPS stuck to the top of the dash that was pretty accurate.

Beat it to fit, paint it to match!

Wheel, Wrench, Repeat.

Finished the box, now I've got plenty of secure storage for the rear. Now to finish the console and decide if I'm going to use it or not...and where to put the stereo.

What are the 4 eyeholes on top for? Is that just for lifting the box out?

Probably right. I was thinking of building one of these the size of a rear seat and putting a back that folds up so it can still be used as a seat and the part you sit on has storage and maybe some speakers mounted in it.

Changed my vacuum advance from ported to manifold and did a little more tweaking to the tuning! Got it running good but going to do the team rush upgrade real soon and hopefully that will fix the rest of my problems!

Got to take her out for a nice cruise today. I just had the transmission rebuilt and it now drives like its 1985 again. Took it out on the highway and she did great. Overall, paying 2k to have it rebuilt sucks, but that's what overtime is for

Wheeled it !!!!

The upgrade to power brakes, and the carb swap to a MC2100, was $200 well spent....No more standing on the firewall with both feet going down steep hills, while trying to use my third foot to keep the engine from flooding and stalling , while puking gas out of the carb.
Going up hills, no matter how steep, it ran just as good as it does on flat ground.

78 CJ7.. 258.. TH400/Dana18.. SOA/stock YJ springs.. 35" General Grabbers.. Waggy 44s.. 4.88 gears...Spartan/Lockright...Fiberglass front to rear
