Pulled seats out this weekend, re-undercoated interior, painted roll bar (again) worked on the custom bumper (almost done) Scrubbed the soft top on my car (flattest big surface I could find)

Waiting on 2 ex. valves to be ground down, and rear braided brake lines.

He should breath by end of week(if all goes well)

Well, bored and out of fundage i decided to replace my body mount bushings that had been sitting in my basement for 2 years. Not too bad i guess, had the ones right in front of the rear tire tear out of the channel, and the back two spun thier nuts but after prying open the little box, walla! Only 1 body mount was bad and snapped one bolt so really cant complain i guess. All in all it was about 10 hours so far, and all i need to do is weld over the 2 C channels and replace a 3 1/2" bolt with a 2 1/2". Total cost for the weekend.... 1 screwdriver squered thumb (idiot!) and 1 slight chunk of skin missing due to a grinder and no gloves on other thumb (really idiot!).

waited and waited and waited for the garage to call and they finally did just to tell me its going to be another 3 DAYS. WTF. Got boxes of stuff I want to install and still have to wait for these guys to remove thumbs from ***. Would have been quicker to do the work outside laying on my back. I have learned from my mistake.

Took the top off for a chilly but sunny ride to Culver's. I can't wait until it is cool when you move and hot when you stop instead of cold when you move and warm when you stop. Can't wait can't wait.

Hooked up the propane heater, heated up the garage, and then set about replacing the gasket under the infamous AMC plastic valve cover...

Got it all back together with a new gasket...I'm hoping for the best (no leaks) tomorrow after I let the RTV set for 24 hours or so. If it leaks that's the last straw, I'll pull the whole deal apart again and go with an aluminum valve cover...

Can't wait for spring, it's been a long winter up here this year...

Ordered a Precision AMC performance crate 360 www.precisionengine.com
I went with the head porting (for a price of course) and he is throwing in a 360 flywheel. They said that they really don't need the core I have and the price is only going to be $100 more if I keep the core and save on the shipping back to them.

Called around trying to find a replacement roll over check valve and liquid check valve. Only ones I found were in Cali and they wanted 45 bucks a piece for 'em sans shipping. I got a line on a possible set in Ft. Collins, we'll see tomorrow. I also did the TEAM RUSH upgrade last week, runs a little smoother and a hint of additional power. I had her runnin' pretty good before hand though. Didn't see an appreciable increase in MPG, still right around 13 to 14 if I play nice with the skinny peddle.
