And how hard was it to do this I have been thinking about doing it since I got the jeep bit I thought it might give me a bit of trouble so I have been putting it off.

First time my daughter got behind the driver seat. May as well be a jeep a bit bumpy but she got the hang of the clutch. Proud of her.

It took about a half hour. I had 2 different size hose clamps, so it was kind of a pain finding both socket sizes. Would have been easier using a short flat head screwdriver. Don't expect much elbow room when u reach up between the frame and gas tank.

I also had to trim about an inch and a half off the breather tube so it fit better. Overall, the factory hoses fit way better than the clones from o'reillys.

Finally got to wheel it today after all the work over the last several years!

Pretty good flex for a shorty CJ5.

That would be the "don't even try and get a replacement cause it's impossible no one makes them anymore not even on Ebay Hella type", the front ones are faded too. PITA as they all look crap on a shiney new paint job. It's like having a nice square black forest cake with a dog turd on each corner.

Really though John I think it's an Aussie compliance thing with the reflector an all.

Hmm, I'll have a look at that this arvo. Hits nicely in the middle of the tyre though and alway was that way. Reckon I'm gunna use it for a CB antennae mount anyways soon. Thanks for the heads-up Ray.
