Took my oil pan and valve covers off and changed out my rear main seal as well as all of my gaskets. Coated the valve cover and oil pan with some paint!

How did you get the AMC 304 to look so nice? My guess is a few coats of silver, let that cure, then mask the AMC 304 off and paint it red?? What did you use to mask the numbers and letters off? My guess here is motorcycle number plate decals.

That looks very nice!! I'd love to do the same thing to my 304

Made a plate to cover the stereo hole in the dash. Pictures to come later when the paint dries.

I sand blasted it, then sanded it by hand, then bought stick on letters from the arts and crafts section at Walmart, stuck them down, then sprayed 3 coats of red, let it dry a little while, then peeled off the letters and sprayed 3 coats of clear coat. I love it. Was actually really easy! And it gave it like a brushed look!

thank you, I like it. That piece of plate was gonna be my rockers. But he bent the lip the wrong way. SO he gave me the two wrong pieces, and bent new ones, then gave me all four......... free of charge for messing up. So I decided to make a bumper out of it. I still need to put on clevis mounts and weld the top down, but it turned out pretty good. Under that plate I have 1/4" plate on the right, to mount the spare tire carrier. I'll post that up when I get to it.

Bought spark plugs. Took all 1970's emissions stuff of the engine. Removed the intake/exhaust. Was surprised it unbolted so easy.

Stripped the paint in the interior (at least 3/4 of it).

I meant 1970's, it was a 1979 CJ 258 I removed the stuff from. Just the smog pump and all the associated hoses/plumbing.
