I pulled the axles out of the amc 20, pulled the differential, pulled the cross shaft out. Replaced the broken cross shaft. Got the differential back in the housing. Got the drivers side axle back in. This was over the weekend.

Dropped the skid plate to replace two stripped frame nuts.

Wished I had it on the road - 74 degrees in NC today!

I did the heater motor upgrade (New from O'reillys 73 Blazer heater motor) and replaced the heater core with a new one just because I was in there and they are cheap.

Man what a difference... My defrosters really really work!!! It blows harder on Medium now than it dd before on high.

CJ sold

I drove my CJ7, Lazarus, to his new owner yesterday. That lucky guy got all the extra goodies I bought for it, too. Anyone know of any grief counselors on JF?

Nothing but rest for the old CJ. What I really want to do is take it off the road so that I can pull the motor and tranny so that I can replace the clutch, have the flywheel resurfaced, replace all of the motor gaskets, and have the head refreshed. Now that I've got some extra cash from Christmas and winning my Fantasy Football league (that's right, I'm a dork). I can get my other car back on the road again so that I can take the Jeep off of it and hopefully have it ready for the spring.

Got the tow bars bolted up, rigged up some lights. Now the rust bucket can get hauled in for major surgery.
First to the muffler shop for duals- if they'll fit.
Then to someone who can probably wire up the mutt engine and make it talk to the CJ- that turned out to be way over my head.
