Just some GM on the recently purchased CJ. Changed oil/filter, checked fluid levels on the front/read dif's and tranny. I did remove the swing arm towing hitch from the front bumper.

Lower radiator hose sprung a leak, so I bought a new hose and replaced that today.
Also put some more DEX II in the transmission.

Refinished the set of wheels I picked up with my new tires. Pretty happy with the results.

Had an awesome time wheeling then after I got done washing it, it wouldn't start. Bad ground somewhere or starter I get that click when you turn the key. And ofcourse it starts lightning and pouring rain as I'm hooking up a tow strap to get it to the garage.

Never understand the hood louver thing. it's not exactly a sealed compartment and destroys another hood.

Received and installed tranny torque stud. Noticed the tranny mount is bad. Never ends does it. Sigh.

Cleaned and painted the axles and springs, ordered JB Fab twin stick, shocks, brake lines, replacement u-bolts/spring plates/bushings/etc, blah blah blah. About to order more parts before I go to bed...can't wait to finish this thing and get driving again!

nice looking louvers, although i hesitate to cut my hood. maybe i'll just get the side panels only. will call gen right. top louvers seem IMO to allow water, leaves, etc to get into the engine well.
