Had a scare today when I checked the oil. Found the dipstick covered in a frothy foam. So, I thought I blew the head gasket or worst a cracked block. Check the radiator, water level was ok, did a quick compression test, not that.
Read up on the 2A page that it might be the PCV valve so I cleaned that. Man, I hope it was that easy. Sorry, I forgot to take pics.

drove it 15 feet still cant figure my carb out? it might need a rebuild and never did it before. it idles perfect but it's acting like it does what to suck the full in the carb unitl i throttle it then it kinda trickles into the fuel filter al new fuel pump tank lines filter everything im leaning towards the carb rebuild or accelarator pump anyone got any ideas.

I like the shovel set up you have. What kind of clamps are those you used and where did you get them?

I would run a hose from a gas can in to the fuel pump and see what happens.

That will at least tell you what end to look for the problem.

Started installing my rocker guards and found out where the rust monster had been hiding all this time...in my body mounts When I pulled the bolts out a couple of them broke and had rotted away to 1/4 inch thick tooth picks. It sucks but it is good to find this now instead of in the event of an accident and my body just slides right of the frame lol. Now I will have to come up with a good way to repair the mounting points in the body without having to take the body off. I'm figuring a sawsall and some cut off wheels to remove the old stuff and then a little fabrication to make some patches with new mounting nuts welded in place. A good cleaning with a wire wheel and some rust prevention and new grade 8 hardware and I should be good to go.

Finally got the h4's into my grill to wrap up that assembly.
Raptor kit shows up this week so next it will be time to line the interior of the tub and start putting this long drawn out project together!
